90s Style hit counters

Sorry, still as busy with other stuff as usual, so this blog still gets very sporadic updates. I know, I know, this site still has very little content, but I do share what I have every now and then. I got a little curious about how much traffic this site actually generates.

In this world where everyone wants your data, and all the sites are filled with trackers and ads, I thought I'd go with something more old-school, however.

As my first web dev experience was on Geocities, and my color theme is already nice and retro, I have added a PageHit model a couple of weeks ago, and started tracking the hits in some select views.

You can now see how many views my home page gets, and how many hits the site as a whole gets, excluding index pages, so /, any blog post, and any KB article.

I have a few more things cooking, but let them stew a while longer.
